API Docs and Quick Start

The ModelHub video API follows OpenAI-style conventions: get an API key, pick a Seedance model ID and send one standard JSON request. Tasks are asynchronous, so you receive a task ID on submit and poll its status until it completes. For first/last-frame transitions send function_mode first_last_frames with two images; multi-asset reference uses the default omni_reference mode with @image_file_1 placeholders.

Endpoints at a glance

  • Base URL: https://modelhub.cc/v1
  • Authentication: Send Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_API_KEY> in the request header; create API keys in the console.
  • POST /v1/videos/generations: Submit a video generation task with model, prompt, ratio, resolution, duration and more.
  • GET /v1/videos/tasks/{id}: Poll a task by ID until it completes and returns the video URL.
  • GET /v1/models: List the currently published model catalog and specs.

Three steps

  • 1. Get an API key: Register a ModelHub account and create an API key in the console.
  • 2. Choose a model: Pick seedance-2.5, seedance-2.0, seedance-2.0-fast or seedance-2.0-mini from the catalog.
  • 3. Submit and poll: POST the task, then call GET /v1/videos/tasks/{id} with the returned task ID until it completes.
